2. Money Talks
It is so expensive to make movies in this day and age. CGI and inflated actors salary is a big reason for that. Back in the day, there wasnt much worry about CGI, especially if the movie was more story driven than quality based. I cant even imagine the price tag of the budget George Lucas would be given had he approached studios now with the original Star Wars idea. And thats another thing; he probably would have changed a lot of the story if he had more power, ruining Star Wars completely. I wonder how many new original CGI movies are ruined because of that same reason.
