7. The B-Team

Was the final scene of the Age Of Ultron supposed to get people pumped? Were Scarlet Witch, Vision, War Machine and the Falcon supposed to rev our engines? The sad truth is, these guys are the B-Team. War Machine is Iron Man with a smaller personality. Ditto Falcon and Captain America. The Vision is a slightly inhuman mix of god and man, like a tesco-value Thor, and Scarlet Witch is the token feisty female with a colour in her name. Unless Ant-Man and Doctor Strange end up having franchise-carrying personalities, things are taking a turn for the bland. In Age of Ultron, they actually made a point of how much less entertaining War Machine's life is than Iron Man's. That was his actual story arc. This is not to cast dispersions on any of the actors involved in these roles, but these guys were introduced as supporting characters for a reason, they shine less bright than their leads. If this is the New Avengers team that will ride into battle with Thanos, then Joss Whedon's writing ability better be up for pulling heavy duty. Wait... what do you mean he's NOT...?
