10 Reasons Snyder's Batman Will Be Superior To Nolan's

7. He'll Face Superpowered Foes

Arnold Schwarzenegger€™s awful portrayal of Mr. Freeze soured audiences on the idea of watching Batman battle supervillains. To avoid losing his audience, Nolan adapted characters from Batman€™s rogues gallery that could fit in with his grounded take on the material. This worked beautifully for the Scarecrow and Joker, but gave short shrift to the super strong Bane, turning him into little more than an anaesthetized goon. The onscreen battles between Batman and his adversaries also favored realistic fight choreography over superhero theatrics. The Batman of the Dark Knight trilogy wouldn€™t stand a chance in a one-on-one fight with the Man of Steel; especially considering some of Batman's greatest nemeses in The Dark Knight were guard dogs. Comic books have gone mainstream in a big way. Onscreen battles between superheroes are more commonplace than ever before. Audiences are now willing to watch Batman participate in over the top action once again. For Batman vs Superman, Batman will have to up his game considerably, or else Superman will win the battle in the first few frames. Snyder€™s Batman must leave the realistic action of Nolan€™s films far behind. This means audiences will be treated to vastly more entertaining fight scenes than anything contained within Nolan€™s trilogy.
