10 Reasons Snyder's Batman Will Be Superior To Nolan's

8. He'll Have A Better Batsuit

The Batsuit is one of the most important factors in Batman becoming a cultural icon. Anyone who adapts Batman must put a unique stamp on his costume while retaining the elements that make Batman recognizable, like his pointy-eared cowl. Nolan did an admirable job making the Batsuits of the Dark Knight trilogy distinctive while sticking to his stated goal of having Batman appear to inhabit a realistic world. However, Nolan took pains to make sure that his version of the suit was grounded, trading style for functionality. An unfortunate byproduct of this was that Nolan€™s Batsuit had no flair, or, impossible crime-fighting gadgets. The images of the new Batsuit we've seen thus far show that the Snyder is taking a different approach; his Batsuit retains some of the grounded aspects of Nolan€™s design, but with a greater visual panache. There are no jokey oddities in the costume, like Bat-nipples, but the look is highly reminiscent of the comics. As a result, Batman appears more imposing and striking than he did in Nolan€™s films. Unlike the Dark Knight trilogy, Batman will now inhabit in a world with superpowered beings. The Bat-gadgets Snyder depicts will have to up the ante and the results will be highly entertaining.
