10 Reasons The Best Things About Star Wars AREN'T The Movies

9. Jedi Characters Are More Developed

If the two versions of Clone Wars can be credited for anything, it would definitely be giving the Jedi characters that the prequel films gave basically zero character actual - well - character. Sure they still talk in their typical flat tone of wisdom that makes them all sound alike, but if you look deeper, you find a lot more personality in their words than what the movies gave them.

From Anakin being so much more likable it's honestly hilarious how bad they screwed it up in the movies, to Obi-Wan being even more of a gloriously sassy troll than he already was, to managing to imbue a character named Kit Fisto with a modicum of dignity, the various games, books, and television shows made the Jedi Order something that you actually wanted to follow in a story. Standing in stark contrast to the constant standing in rooms and talking that the prequels gave us.

However, it's one thing to just make the Jedi more interesting characters, but what about bringing up fan concerns about the Jedi as an organization?
