10 Reasons The Fantastic Four Looks Great

7. Doctor Doom Has A Doctor Doom Voice

Along with...everything else about The Fantastic Four, one particular cause for concern is what Doctor Doom will be like in it. Fox's last attempt at bringing the Best Supervillain In History to the big screen was a total dud, with Nip/Tuck's Julian McMahon playing a Doom that didn't wear a cape, had some weird electricity powers, and didn't once refer to himself in the third person. The new Doom is being played by Toby Kebbell, who is a much better actor than Julian McMahon, but uh oh: in an interview about the role, he said his character would not be a supervillain with delusions of grandeur, but a blogger who takes Doom as his internet handle! Like bloggers don't have silly names and delusions of grandeur... Anyway, Doom doesn't actually appear on screen properly in the trailer (at least it's not obvious), except at the very end, where Miles Teller's Reed Richards appears to be having a less-than-civil chat with him. €œBe ready for what's coming...the answers!€ he says in a husky, portentous manner. Yep, that's Doom all right.
