There is one major obvious concern that comes to mind when considering whether the future of the MCU is worth watching, that is the lack of major players. With the loss of Tony Stark and Steve Rogers, we lose two of the major faces that kept us watching and waiting for the next quip, the charisma expressed by these two will be sorely missed.
However, the boffins at Marvel have a track record of making something out of nothing. Before 2008, if someone asked you to name the major Marvel characters it's a sure thing that Iron Man wouldn't have made the top 5 and before 2014 how many people could honestly say they even knew who the Guardians of the Galaxy were?
Yes we lose many familiar faces coming into the next phase of the MCU, however if anyone can make us care about the upcoming characters, its the people in charge at Marvel.
