1. The Original Toy Story Film
Unleashed upon the world in the fall of 1995, Toy Story changed animated movie making forever. It was the first completely animated film ever created entirely by computer, and as a result nothing in film making, and specifically in animation, would ever be the same. Although the film failed to break $400 million in receipts worldwide, it launched a brand that has earned nearly $2 billion dollars in box office cash. Buzz, Woody, and the gang are part of pop culture now and forever;. They cross all boundaries, cultural or otherwise and are an individual marketing juggernaut the likes of which has not been seen since the Star Wars franchise. Toy Story appeals to all ages: the simple story of a boy's toys who cared for each other, but not nearly as much as they cared for their Andy. Fellow PIXAR fanatics, what did I miss?
