3. The Action
A natural follow up to the previous point, Bane is an Arkham unleashing, mob squeezing gangster with an army of thugs. There will be action. There will be a lot of it. Also the inclusion of Catwoman and a whole army of new gadgets will raise the battling stakes beyond that of the normal thug beatings we are treated with in Batman Begins and The Dark Knight. Action does not make a movie, not at all, but the quality and scope of it can raise the stakes and the spectacle to levels unseen in the previous Batman films and help raise this to other trilogy finales scope, i.e The Return of the King. Furthermore, as it is Nolan's final turn at Batman, then he will want to leave with a bang a kapow and bosh.
