10 Reasons You’re Wrong About Spider-Man 3

8. The Sandman Was Exceptionally Well Done

One of the criticisms often thrown at Spider-Man 3 is that Venom looked nothing like his comic book iteration. This is true, but it ignores one of the other primary villain in the film. The Sandman€™s look and how he received his powers were almost identical to how he appears in the comic books, and this matched the existing tone. From his recognisable shirt to Thomas Haden Church€™s physique, which perfectly matched the way the character has been drawn in the past, it is hard to argue that Raimi did not pay attention to the source material in this case. Although some of the other characters in the film were significiantly changed, like the new Goblin and Venom, this character showed that Raimi did not forget what sort of film he was making. Fans of Sandman could not have been disappointed by his representation in this movie.
