6. Superman Gets A New Power

Man Of Steel was all about Zack Snyder exploring Clark Kent's transformation into Superman and the powers which came with that. As a result, revealing a new one at some point wouldn't feel in the least bit out of place, and following a comic book which actually only came out a week or so ago wouldn't be a bad move at all on the director's part. As Superman pushed his heat vision to the limit recently, it unlocked a new power, destroying his costume and knocking him unconscious. It's a major addition to his skill set. Batman later discovers that he "detonated" and created a massive solar flare, releasing all of the solar energy which he obviously stores up while being bathed in the sun's rays. There's a twist however which would be fascinating to see explored on film. While his cells recharge, Superman is left human for 24 hours. That means no powers and a very real chance he can be hurt or killed. A depowered superhero isn't exactly an original idea, but it would be new for Superman and something has only been touched on in film in Spider-Man 2.
