10 Recent Horror Movie Deaths Nobody Saw Coming

Now, it wasn't so much that nobody saw the death of breezy yoga girl Aurora (Charlotte Creaghan) coming in In A Violent Nature, but nobody saw it happening quite like this.

In what quickly became the arthouse slasher's big viral moment, Aurora gets taken out by masked maniac Johnny (Ry Barrett) when she's partaking in some seemingly tranquil cliffside yoga.

Johnny doesn't just cut her up and swiftly move on, though. Instead, he disembowels her with a hook from behind, forces her head backwards through the hole he just made, and then kicks off the edge of the cliff, y'know, just to be sure she's dead.

Even in the era of Terrifier, where it's increasingly difficult to catch audiences off-guard with insane gore, this was a truly shocking death scene, with its brutality juxtaposed with how eerily calm and quiet so much of the movie is leading up to it.

Needless to say, the already-announced sequel will need to do something unimaginable to top this.
