9 Recent Movie Cameos Everyone Missed

It seems like Pete Davidson's everywhere these days, having most recently appeared in two of the summer's biggest movies, Fast X and Transformers: Rise of the Beast, but there's also a third you surely didn't catch.

Davidson has an impressively sneaky cameo in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 you've got little chance of noticing, especially considering Davidson's face is covered for the role and he has just a few quick lines.

All the same, filmmaker James Gunn confirmed on Twitter that Davidson played Phlektik - one of the villainous High Evolutionary's (Chukwudi Iwuji) security guards who wears a black leather jacket and has a distinctly alien-looking face.

Gunn additionally confirmed that Davidson not only voiced the character but came to the Atlanta set for the day to perform in-person with the rest of the cast.

It's fair to assume that Davidson scored the cameo after appearing in Gunn's previous superhero film, The Suicide Squad, as the short-lived mercenary Blackguard.

Whatever will he show up in next? Dune: Part Two? At this point it's basically a jump scare whenever he shows his face in a huge blockbuster movie.
