Acting as perhaps one of the most infamous utilisers of "The Method" working today, 2021 brought with it another instance of Jared Leto diving head-first into a hugely unsettling figure in The Little Things.

Playing the part of serial killer suspect Albert Sparma in the crime thriller opposite Denzel Washington and Rami Malek, Leto would highlight the detail that went into creating the chilling character when talking to Indie Wire, saying, “I had a different color eyes, different nose, different teeth, other prosthetics, there was a walk and a talk."

Going further, though, upon revealing the "big physical commitment" that went into his recent work as Marvel's Morbius too, Leto would add:

"If you make any physical commitment, like a walk or a talk or a diet, if you do it for enough hours in the day, you’re going to have residual from that. I’ve played some intense characters, and it’s safe to say they always get under my skin.”

Between pumping new blood into a living vampire for Sony's nightmarish next Marvel chapter and hypnotising audiences with his disarming Sparma depiction, it's safe to say it's been business as usual for the always freakishly dedicated Leto as of late.
