8. Jason Momoa Was Left Crying On The Inside During One Scene - Dune
Denis Villeneuve's awe-inspiring spin on all things Dune this year is undoubtedly a film boasting some of the finest CGI world-building you're ever likely to witness on a cinema screen. But the director was also deeply committed to bringing a practical energy and feeling to his monumental project. So much so that some of his A-list stars have admitted to feeling the pressure during the filming of scenes very much shot out in the middle of the desert.
In particular, Khal Drogo himself Jason Momoa has admitted to almost being reduced to tears on the back of being made to continually sprint across the sand to Timothee Chalamet in the thick of a windstorm for one specific scene. Going into explicit detail about the rigours of performing this arduous sprint over and over again, Momoa would reveal when reminiscing with his castmates:
"The amount of chaffing, and the sweat that had built up. But I was like, 'I'm not gonna give up. I'm not going to give up!' But inside, I was crying like a little baby."
Turns out everyone has their limit, and Momoa's just so happened to reveal itself whilst doing sprints on Arrakis.
