10 Remarkable Facts About 2015's Biggest Movies

1. Steven Spielberg Came Up With The Idea For The Gyrospheres - Jurassic World

If you were curious as to how much involvement and influence the cinematic master that is Steven Spielberg - who is credited as "Executive Producer" - had over the course of Jurassic World's production, the answer is: a fair amount, actually. According to director Colin Trevorrow, he and Spielberg hashed out a lot of concepts together whilst making the film, and he even came to set on a number of occasions to offer his expert advice. Spielberg's biggest contribution to the movie, perhaps, came in the form of the iconic Gyrospheres, which play a major part in the film's story as things go to sh*t. As Trevorrow explains:
" wanted to create a way for people to get up close and personal with the animals, to make it a self-driving, free-roaming experience. It loads on a track, but once you're out there, you actually get to navigate around the valley."
The Gyrospheres were one of the coolest things about Jurassic World - a genuinely innovative idea that you can imagine existing in the not-too-distant future. In fact, Spielberg might be outright wasted as a mere director. Design an awesome theme park, Steven! Like this article? What do you make of these interesting facts? Got any to share?
