10 Ridiculous Captain America: Civil War Rumours We Hope Aren't True

The Rumour: We know that the mystery figure in the yellow chamber is not Bucky as most of us originally assumed (because we see him in the same shot next to Iron Man a moment later). One of the loonier possibilities is that Quicksilver has been somehow resurrected, possibly by nefarious forces, and will make a surprise appearance late in the movie.

How Likely Is It?: Almost nil. It's universally agreed that X-Men: Days of Future Past nailed the character in ways that Age of Ultron didn't, and it's probably for the best if Marvel Studios just accept that, chalking the win up for Fox.

The MCU already has a major stakes problem as it relates to death, and to just magic Quicksilver back to life a year later would seem like a lame cop-out, all the more so because his presence is so utterly unnecessary in a Civil War movie. And finally, assuming he has a role lasting more than a few seconds, it'd be a miracle if it didn't leak ahead of time. 0.5/10
