9. Chris Pine's Fanny Pack Love - Wonder Woman 1984

Over the past few years, the 1980s has proved to be a rich well for Hollywood to tap into, allowing them to have fun with colourful aesthetics while revelling in the ever-profitable nostalgia. The latest franchise to jump on that trend is DC, propelling their Wonder Woman series forward in time from 1918 to 1984.

Of course, the change completely transformed the production, from set design to costume departments. The crew in the latter must have been foaming at the mouth, as the strong looks from the era are perfect foundations for fascinating designs. This meant that the all-too-common practice of actors having gripes with their outfits was easily nullified. And with Chris Pine, the pendulum swung entirely the other way, especially when it came to his fanny pack (or bum bag for us Brits).

Pine's love for the accessory prompted him to buy one of his own to wear through most of the shoot, even biking around sets on location with it in tow. He explained this behaviour by saying that "the fanny pack provides both a protection of the silhouette of the pant while also providing incredible storage space". Couldn't have put it better myself Chris.
