20 Most Awesome Movie Weapons

6. Ol' Painless - Predator (1987)

The signature weapon wielded by Jesse Ventura's self-styled 'sexual Tyrannosaurus' Blain in John McTiernan's action classic, Ol' Painless is as unsubtle and over-the-top as the movie itself. In keeping with the larger-than-life machismo running through the cast, Ventura's weapon is a handheld version of the mini-gun that was mounted on helicopters during the Vietnam war. Capable of firing over a thousand rounds per minute, Ol' Painless comes in handy for decimating interchangeable henchmen whether they be running for their lives or hiding in the tree-tops, keeping Blain so busy that he ain't got time to bleed. After his death at the hands of the Predator, Bill Duke's Mac proves himself to be a less astute marksman with the weapon, not to mention a staunch anti-environmentalist, by firing blindly into the rainforest for an extended period of time.

I don't do social media, so like or follow me in person but please maintain a safe distance or the authorities will be notified. Don't snap me though, I'll probably break. I was once labelled a misogynist on this very site in a twenty paragraph-long rant for daring to speak ill of the Twilight franchise. I stand by what I said, it's crap.
