One of the promotional taglines for Robert Rodriguez' Planet Terror pretty much guaranteed this was going to be over-the-top ridiculous; 'humanity's last hope.... rests on a high-powered machine gun!!!' After zombies take her appendage, Rose McGowan's Cherry first makes do with a table leg as a replacement before she is equipped with something a bit more practical. Practical meaning an assault rifle/grenade launcher combo. In the movie's most memorable scene, Cherry goes full Rambo and lays waste to absolutely anything in her path, including some nifty 360 degree spinning action that guns down dozens of enemies within seconds. She couldn't do that if she was still decked out with a mahogany finish. Even though its pitch black outside, Cherry finishes her rampage by putting on sunglasses. Because why not.
