After the shiny Armani costumes and complete disregard for the source material that blighted the first attempt at a feature-length Judge Dredd movie, Pete Travis' update takes the character back to his down-and-dirty roots. Led by Karl Urban in bad-ass, Clint Eastwood-inspired form, its a crying shame that audiences are unlikely to see a sequel given the movie's poor box office. The standard-issue firearm for all Judges of Mega City One, the versatility of the Lawgiver lends itself well to both the character of Dredd and the movie's action scenes. Coded to the user's DNA, the weapon comes equipped with a digital display and voice-activated controls. Ammo-wise, the Lawgiver is capable of fully automatic fire as well as housing armor-piercing, incendiary, non-lethal and explosive rounds.
