Ever just been casually walking down the street, when suddenly out of nowhere a demon from the depths of Hell bursts out from the ground and stands on a casual civilian walking on the other side of the road?
If not, then 2019's Hellboy perfectly demonstrates exactly how that entire exchange would go down if you were unfortunate enough to find yourself in that highly specific situation.
After Hellboy finally decides to wield Excalibur and bring the demons of Hell to the surface, we see various monstrosities sprout up out of the ground and begin to murder the frantic humans of London.
Some seriously intense deaths then quickly become a reality.
People being decapitated and chopped up in mid-air like a Fruit Ninja watermelon and individuals having their faces ripped off were bad, but what followed made those killings look positively PG.
One particularly devious demon, with a horned skull for a head, decided to collect some screaming folk during its leisurely gander down the streets of London... by stabbing them one-by-one through its legs.
Hellboy was by no means a perfect movie, but this string of disgusting deaths was enough to make you wish you were watching a Pixar feature.
