10 Rising Actors Who Could Be The Next Big Thing

8. Nick Robinson

Only 20 years old, Robinson has been working on high profile projects since he was a teenager. He came to the attention of American audiences playing a supporting role in ABC Family€™s hit sitcom Melissa & Joey, a show otherwise known for the high concept pairing of Sabrina The Teenage Witch and Joey Russo from Blossom. Melissa & Joey is winding up in the next few weeks, but Robinson€™s already moved on: he had a supporting role on Boardwalk Empire at 17 years old, and followed it up with an award-nominated turn in sweet coming of age comedy drama The Kings Of Summer a year later. If you€™re looking at that face and vaguely recalling having seen it very recently in a large dark room, magnified to terrifying proportions on a wall in front of you - don€™t panic, it wasn€™t one of your psychotic episodes. Robinson had a large supporting role in this year€™s unexpected sleeper hit Jurassic World, developed and produced by little known filmmaker Steven Spielberg. Next up are lead roles in Rob Reiner€™s Being Charlie and the post-apocalyptic alien invasion drama The 5th Wave, already being feted as the next Hunger Games. The man€™s on the verge of becoming the toast of Hollywood, and he€™s not even old enough to drink legally yet.
