3. Danny Elfman - The Gift
Some of you may question, how is composer Danny Elfman a rock star? Danny Elfman is the lead singer and songwriter for the band Oingo Boingo (their most popular hit is 'Dead Man's Party' which is played at every Halloween party),which makes him a rock star. He frequently collaborates with Tim Burton and his theme song for The Simpsons is heard every week. He is also the crazy looking fiddler in The Gift. Where is the fiddler in the movie? Cate Blanchett's Annie (spoiler alert?) is known to have visions. In one of her visions, she is walking in a deserted small town. She approaches a swamp and across the pond is Danny Elfman playing the fiddle furiously but not looking furious. Perhaps this is how he wooed Bridget Fonda to be his wife.
