10 Rock Star Movie Cameos You Never Noticed

2. Daft Punk - Tron Legacy

tron legacy Daft Punk is hard to recognize unless you know what you are looking for. If you are a casual listener and see one of their music videos, it looks like a futuristic robot mini film. However, if you are watching next to a Daft Punk fan, they will exclaim "Oh, there they are". Where? Oh, those guys are not actually actors playing robots but the band Daft Punk. They are known for being camera shy and always have masks on. Typically they are in robot costumes but have been known to show up in interviews with black boxes on their heads, like this: Daft Punk got lucky when the soundtrack they worked on for two years, Tron Legacy, was also a futuristic movie where their robot bodies and their robot heads would fit right into Jeff Bridges' computer world. They play disc jockeys at Zuse's club (after researching this, wouldn't you think his name would be spelled 'Zeus'?) before a fight breaks out and Jeff Bridges' has to use his awesomeness to save the day. In any other movie, it would just be actors as disk jockeys but in this one, it's an awesome pop-electronica group. Now if only they were time travelling disk jockeys so they can add to the soundtrack in the 1980 original Tron film.
