Alright, out of all the entries on this list, this is the only one that actually offends me. I can't even list all of the things that make Edward horrible, and it upsets me that impressionable minds are reading these books and watching the movies thinking that all the messed up stuff he does is somehow romantic. He watches her while she sleeps. Let me say that again. He breaks into her house and
he watches her while she sleeps. When Bella wants to go hang out with someone that Edward doesn't approve of, he takes the engine out of her car so that she physically can't go. When she threatens to go anyway, he scoffs and says something along the lines of, "Do you really think I couldn't stop you?" He's manipulative, abusive, and condescending. But the absolute worst part is that all of this bull is supposed to be endearing. Ugh.
