Oblivion was one of 2013's most underrated films; criticised for being derivative, it was nevertheless an incredibly enjoyable and well made science fiction film. Tom Cruise's character Jack Harper goes through quite the journey of discovery, finding out that not only has he been lied to, and that there are still humans in hiding on Earth, but that he's one of several clones created by an alien force that took over the planet many years ago. That's a lot to take in, and over the course of the movie Jack has no easy time surviving the many things the alien, Sally, throws at him. By the time Jack sacrifices himself to save what's left of humanity, we've undergone an exciting, thrilling adventure with him. Because of this, his final, simple insult to Sally is not only funny, but perfect. "F**k you, Sally," is all he needed to say, and was an immensely satisfying.
