The Wolverine was a good but not great film, an apology for the horrible X-Men Origins: Wolverine, but not quite everything its Japan-set comic book arc deserved. Still, it features one of the best credit scenes of 2013 at the end (but not the best, as you'll see soon), as Logan finds himself walking through an airport and is met by Magneto, who warns him of an impending threat to mutants. Logan asks why he should trust a former enemy, and just at that moment, Professor Xavier wheels himself into frame, somehow having come back from the dead after his destruction in X-Men: The Last Stand. This is everything that credit scenes should be. It's short, but it also piques our interest enough that we can't wait to see what the future has in store, in terms of X-Men: Days of Future Past. One big issue that has been stagnating since the end of Brett Ratner's awful X-Men: The Last Stand is how Xavier is going to be brought back, and just a few short months from now, we'll have all our answers.
