8. Pim And Ploy - Alone (2007)
This scary Thai ghost story tells the tale of conjoined twins Pim and Ploy. When the girls both fall in love with a boy called Wee, he only wants to be with Pim. She demands that Ploy agree to an operation to separate them so she can be with him. Ploy dies in the operation and an apparently guilt-ridden Pim moves to South Korea to escape her remorse and marry Wee.
The twisty events that follow highlight not only a horrific betrayal that Ploy enacted on Pim, but how angry and full of vengeance Pim’s ghost is for what happened to her. It is revealed that Ploy murdered her sister and went on to pose as her to steal Wee. In an additional evil act, she then killed their mother when she thought she was going to reveal her secret.
Pim’s spirit gets more and more frightening, torturing and terrifying her sister before eventually intervening during a fight with Wee when he learns the truth. Pim finally gets her revenge, holding her sister down, making it impossible for her to escape a raging house fire.
