Sam J. Jones, Timothy Dalton, and Max Von Sydow... who all have surprisingly similar signatures, when you come to think of it. In hushed tones, you tell the story of how you saw one of these films in an empty theater - and the way it made you feel like it was made just for you. Yes, you are that fan. You loved these movies before everyone else did, before word of mouth about them caught on. Hell, you ARE the word of mouth. Here are a few sci-fi/fantasy/horror films - films we now all know and love - that were wet noodles in theaters, but found their following on home video.
