6. Kevin Flynn - Tron (1982)
Due to the hours spent hunched over their desk, being physically puny or socially awkward could be considered an occupational hazard in a nerd-heavy profession like computer programming and if you like to hew to cliche when it comes to nerds, (and I know I do) a job for someone with nothing but sticky tape keeping their glasses together and a fondness for World Of Warcraft. If someone like that got teleported into a computer and had to battle evil computer programs they would be deader than platform shoes and neon flares. Fortunately for us cinema goers Jeff Bridges' Kevin Flynn is a motorcycle riding, handsome Mr Popular type...so not really that similar to a computer programmer. He proves adept at cyber death Frisbee, cyber tank warfare, cyber revolution and sitting on his cyber-ass in a cave doing nothing for the next thirty years....
