Remember how you sat down with that ex-girlfriend of yours to watch this forgettable horror film back in 2008 and haven't thought about it since? No matter: The Strangers made $82 million on a budget of just $9 million, which means that Hollywood sees it as a viable franchise. So, believe it or not, but The Strangers 2 is really happening and it's set for a release in the last quarter of 2016. Just like the masked killers in the original picture, this sequel sure did sneak up on everyone, didn't it? Working in a similar vein to the first movie, then, The Strangers 2 will reportedly hone in on "a family with a troubled daughter attempting to bond on a family vacation together." When said family arrive at the trailer parker home of a relative, though, they discover that he's been murdered - horrifically killed at the hands of the titular "Strangers." Oo-er.
