1. The Hulk Will Be The Key To Defeating Thanos - Avengers: Infinity War

There have been lots and lots and lots of theories in recent years purporting that Marvel secretly have a Planet Hulk movie in the works, in which Bruce Banner - banished from the Earth after being deemed too dangerous by his fellow superheroes - is forced to face off against hordes of alien scum on a distant planet. And yet that simply hasn't happened. Marvel don't seem to have opted for the Planet Hulk route on account of the fact that they have other ideas in store for the series; Hulk's sitting in the background at the moment. So what, exactly, have the studio got planned for Bruce Banner? At the end of Avengers: Age Of Ultron, he made a swift exit, after all - presumably to do a bit of trademark soul searching (he loves a bit of that). One really shocking theory, however, offers up the notion that the Hulk will be revealed to be the key to stopping Thanos in Avengers: Infinity War on account of his being relatively invincible. That he will end up being the only superhero capable of matching Thanos' Infinity Stone-level powers when the final battle comes exploding around in Part 2. It makes sense, given the Hulk's inherent strength and that these two titans have battled before in the comics. And it would certainly make for an interesting plot point if the Avengers end up hunting for Bruce in some remote region over the course of the films. Like this article?
