10 Slickest Movie Rides Of All Time

4. 1970 Chevy Nova - Death Proof

Death Proof Here's a movie car that's undeniably slick...as long as you're the one sitting in the driver's seat. Aging, crazed Stuntman Mike (Kurt Russell) drives his 1970 Chevy Nova - complete with an awesome skull and cross-bones decal on the hood - looking for women to kill to satisfy his urge. Early on in the movie, he offers to drive a woman home (Rose McGowan), and she gets a taste first-hand of just how death-proof Mike's car is. The car is kitted out with a stuntman's rollcage, which would protect the driver, while the rest of the car has no safety features whatsoever - not even a seatbelt. As a result, when Mike intentionally crashes the car, the woman is brutally killed, while Mike suffers minor injuries. This becomes his method throughout the film, to use his badass car as a means to stalk and intimidate women, though of course in the end, Mike ends up on the wrong end of a brutal slaying himself...
