8. Steve Zahn
There are very few actors in the world who can come across as genuinely likeable, but Steve Zahn is one of them. Every project he has appeared in captures precisely what his role is supposed to achieve, and in most cases that is a loveable and funny character who sticks with you.
Zahn is quite well known for appearing in very mediocre films, but often being the highlight. Some examples include Sahara, Daddy Day Care and the Diary of a Wimpy Kid series, in which he turns in a brilliantly energetic and charismatic performance which stands out against the mundanity of the rest of the project.
Further from this, he has appeared in some high profile titles like Dallas Buyers Club and War for the Planet of the Apes, but it still mostly known for being a light comic relief character in bad films.
The actor is genuinely funny and makes the low humour he is given work but is deserving of something far better.
