7. Miranda Otto
Otto is mostly known for her role as Eowyn in the Lord of the Rings series, which boasts an awe-inspiring cast who either went on to do amazing things or teeter around in smaller projects with the fantasy series being their biggest hit. It seems that she falls into the latter category mostly, but she has had some great roles in films of note.
The Thin Red Line, War of the Worlds and Chilling Adventures of Sabrina are all examples of the large scale projects she has been involved with, and in each one, she has done a stand-up job of being a substantial figure. However, it still feels like Otto is an actor who is separated from the mainstream despite the great things she has been a part of.
Miranda Otto should have been able to reach the heights of the industry after her compelling performance in the saga of Middle-earth, but sadly it didn't happen for her. Let's hope that a big break comes to show her skills off to audiences all over.
