There are a collection of British actors who have outstanding reputations in the film industry, with some of these talented thespians even going on to be knighted by the royal family. Toby Jones is an actor who has the potential to be another one of these highly regarded individuals, but as of yet, something is holding him back from capitalising on his promise.

This likely comes down to the fact that the majority of the high profile films he has been a part of have only given him minimal roles to play with. Forexample, his part in The Hunger Games was a particular surprise as he had little to no lines at all.

Jones is an incredibly versatile actor with a remarkable ability to generate distinct and unique voices, with one of his most memorable vocal performances being that of Dobby in the Harry Potter series. But overall his appearances are never presented as significant, and he seems to be an actor who despite working constantly, is very much under the radar.

A large character in a decent hit would work wonders for his career, and hopefully put him on the same level as some of his more celebrated contemporaries and other truly great British performers.
