10 Small Details That Could Ruin Upcoming Comic Book Movies

9. Approach To Ant-Man's Insect Control Powers - Ant-Man

Let's face it: we're all nervous about Ant-Man for a good number of reasons, the main one of which settles on the fact that it's no longer being directed by Edgar Wright, who would have been perfect for the hybrid of comedy and action necessary to make a film of that title work. But as far as small details that could screw it up? Well, how about the depiction of Ant-Man's inherent ability to... well, control ants? How will that turn out? Because, c'mon... crazy as the Marvel Cinematic Universe is, what with its talking racoons and demi-Gods, the thought of a man controlling what will no doubt be an army of CGI ants still feels a bit off-kilter. Presumably Marvel will opt to include this particular power, but it's interesting to ponder how, exactly, it will be depicted on screen. Failing to nail this relatively minor detail could result in lots of unintentional laughs.
