3. Jamie Bell As The Thing - Fantastic Four

Although we'd love to give Jamie Bell the benefit of the doubt on this one... really? Bell's casting as Ben Grimes (AKA "The Thing") is an odd one. Though the new Fantastic Four movie is sure to take the characters in a new direction, this might be the small element that unhinges the entire movie, despite the fact that Bell will presumably find himself generated into a rock man using extensive amounts of CGI. Jamie Bell is a good actor, and has proven himself to be a versatile performer on several occasions - but he's also the guy that played Tintin and Billy Elliot. Although the other actors who have been cast as members of the Fantastic Four seem relatively suited to their roles, Bell seems miscast. A sweeping statement, sure, especially since we haven't seen the flick yet - but it's certainly cause for some concern.
