10 Snowbound Horror Movies For Christmas

This is not the 1998 movie where Michael Keaton comes to life as a snowman in his son’s front yard one Christmas, this is the 1997 movie where a serial killer transforms into a snowman and takes revenge on the Sheriff who caught him.

Aside from the title, there really isn’t that much that links the two films unless the Keaton movie features a wisecracking villain who can transform himself into a snowball and rip faces off with a mouthful of icicles. The bad jokes come thick and fast, so expect a sequence where Jack says “Is it cold in here is it just me?” as well as a scene where he attacks a victim with an icicle and quips, “I got a point to make!”

Clearly aware that they were not making a Disney picture, the filmmakers throw in a scene where American Pie’s Shannon Elizabeth (in her acting debut) strips to the tune of 12 Days Of Christmas before being assaulted by Mr Frost in the shower. Which of course makes this the greatest movie ever.
