Well, actually, he's not the equivalent of that - that's just Eddie Murphy. The description was written for him on purpose. If I ended up getting invited to his funeral tomorrow by accident, I'd be forced to read that out from a card to all his friends and family. Out of respect. That's what he would have wanted. The truth. And the truth is, unfortunately, that Mr. Murphy has totally and utterly lost it, and there's no sign of him getting his mojo back anytime soon. A Thousand Words. Meet Dave. Imagine That. Norbit. What the heck happened? And for anyone citing Tower Heist as a recent "funny movie" on this guy's resume, just stop: it was okay, but it wasn't exactly "funny," was it? And I'm not counting voice-over work, either, so you can take back Shrek. Once upon a time this guy was considered to be the greatest comedian in the world. It's difficult to remember when (or why).
