Last Genuinely Funny Movie: Hitch (2005) I don't know if Kevin James has ever said anything that has resulted in me laughing, but I know he's generally regarded to be a comedy actor because people have told me so, or I heard some kids talking about it on the underground. The last funny movie I've listed for this tub of belly laughs is
Hitch, and that's because I'm being generous - it wasn't even his movie, but if I don't list it then I actually don't have anything to put in that section. Seriously. Realising that Hitch was his last good role led me to discover that - shocker - Kevin James has never made a funny movie in which he plays the main character.
Paul Blart: Mall Cop, Zookeeper, Here Comes The Boom... these are all legitimate Hollywood ventures with two things in common: firstly, they feature James in a leading role. Secondly, they're about as much fun as waking up on a Saturday morning and realising it's actually Monday. And your family is dead.
