10 Spider-Man Villains Sony Should Keep (& 10 They Should Lend To The MCU)
12. GIVE UP: The Spot
Scientist Jonathan Ohnn creates a portal to another dimension, trapping himself in it when he steps through. He eventually finds his way out, but not before various portals adhered to his skin.
The Spot sounds like a silly character, but if the MCU could make Batroc the Leaper hold his own against Captain America, they can certainly make The Spot seem like a legitimate threat.
Visually, The Spot would be a fun villain to use in the MCU. With the Snap, the multiverse, and Doctor Strange's portals all fresh in Peter Parker's mind, a villain who can teleport would be an acceptable problem for him to face.
Regarding the story, the MCU should look to SM: TAS. In the cartoon, the Spot's Time-Dilation Accelerator falls into the hands of other villains like Hobgoblin and the Green Goblin. Having this piece of tech floating around even after The Spot's incarceration opens up worlds of possibilities in the MCU.
