10 Spoilers We Already Know About Marvel's Phase 3
2. Ant-Man Flashbacks
Peggy Carter looked like she would not be seen again in the Marvel Cinematic Universe after Captain America: The First Avenger. After all, that was set in WWII, and now it is all in a new millennium. However, she will soon be the star of her own TV show, and she already appeared at the start of Marvels Agents of SHIELDs second series. Caps first love is not going to be disappearing that quickly. How does this feed into Ant-Man? Hayley Atwell has been cast in Ant-Man, suggesting a flashback scene will take place. This would tie the film to the wider universe, as at the moment it is looking relatively self contained. Moreover, John Slattery, Howard Stark in Iron Man 2, will also be reprising his role as Iron Mans rather distant father. It would make sense for this to be in a flashback where he talks to Hank Pym, being played by Michael Douglas, but he could be reprising his role through a video as well.
