9. Quicksilver And Scarlet Witch Are Initially Evil

Clearly, because of the rights issues that have stopped the use of the term "mutants" and the origin of Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch as Magneto's children, the super siblings will have completely different to their comic book iterations. But this doesn€™t mean that there won€™t be references. In the comics they were originally members of Magneto€™s villainous Brotherhood, seeking mutant domination of the world, though they eventually turned their back on this criminal past and sought redemption as members of The Avengers. In homage to this it looks like you will originally see the powerful new Avengers start off working for Ultron in some capacity; in one scene from the trailer you see Ultron turn around to look at a dark clothed Quicksilver and a sombre looking Scarlet Witch. Perhaps Ultron frees them from the cells that they were in at the end of the Winter Soldier, or maybe he offers them some reward. Either way, it looks like they will at least begin their Marvel Cinematic Universe lives as villains before turning to redemption by helping the Avengers.
