7. The Death Of Captain America

People have known about this for a while now; Chris Evans hasn€™t got too many films left on his contract, and he is looking reluctant to sign on for more judging by recent interviews. The Civil War storyline led directly into Captain America€™s death, with him handing himself in to authorities and eventually being shot by Crossbones (or so people thought). Crossbones has already been introduced in The Winter Soldier, so this storyline certainly looks like it is being developed. The Infinity Gauntlet storyline, which is inspiring the Avengers next two films after Age of Ultron, also saw Captain America die in an attempt to stop the Mad Titan Thanos from conquering earth. With two comic book storylines being enacted in the films, both of which featured Captain America making a massive sacrifice, and the fact that Chris Evans is not keen on keeping the Captain America mask on for that much longer, it looks pretty clear that Captain America will be dying at some point in the foreseeable future.
