10 Star Wars Characters Recast With Disney Animated Characters

7. Wall-E as "R2-D2"

Is there any character I should have picked over Wall-E for this iconic role? I don't think so. Wall-E was the clear and most obvious choice on this list. They both share the almost exact same appeal- both are cute, small robots who can't really talk and who we all can't help to fall in love with. There is no one of this earth who could possibly hate R2-D2 as a character (although he is really just a dustbin that rolls around) and the exact same can be said for Wall-E. I have yet to meet any movie lover who doesn't consider Wall-E one of their favorite animated characters of all time. If Wall-E and R2-D2 where ever to meet (perhaps now they are both owned by Dinsey they will somewhere down the line in some weird universe) I am sure they would both get on really well with one another, and I for one would love to see a Disney Star Wars like the one suggested here simply for this inevitable casting choice. Imagine how cool a Pixar Star Wars movie would be... maybe one day?
