8. Mulan as "Princess Leia"
This was surprisingly difficult, especially considering the sheer amount of Disney Princesses there are on offer. Princess Leia is feisty and just as tough as any of the male characters are (probably the toughest in fact), and as much as I love the Disney films, most of the princesses are pretty much 1950's male ideas of the perfect female and not really tough enough to compete in intergalactic space gun fights. One of the only characters from the entire Disney universe that was tough enough and worthy enough to fill Leia's shows was Mulan. Mulan is by far the toughest Disney female protagonist. She pretty much single handedly defeated the entire Hun army and broke all kind of rules to do so, in order to save China. Saving Republics from evil doers is a common goal of these too and they also share a love of speaking back to and seducing arrogant, big headed men. She would also make a pretty good Padme, though as great as Padme is, Mulan can hold her own much better than Padme can in battles. They both look pretty good in glaringly white make-up though.
