10 Star Wars Characters SAVED By The Expanded Universe

Quinlan Vos was a very popular character in the Expanded Universe prior to Disney's takeover of the Star Wars franchise. He was cool, sarcastic and something of a maverick Jedi Master which set him apart from almost everything fans had seen before, but even Vos's adventures weren't safe from being made non-canon.

As such, Quinlan Vos's entire existence in Star Wars canon was reduced to a cameo appearance on Tatooine in Episode I and a throwaway mention in Episode III courtesy of Obi-Wan's name drop after a briefing.

Happily, this wasn't the case for very long and Vos was given his very own adventure in The Clone Wars series alongside his love interest Asajj Ventress, who would ultimately end up giving her life to save the Jedi Master. He is also presumed to have survived Order 66, so time will tell if we are to see any more of this fiercely cool character.

With so many Prequel period characters rumoured to be appearing in new media these days, it's entirely possible we may see a live action portrayal of Vos once again.
