6. Rey
After learning that somehow, Palpatine had returned in The Rise of Skywalker, Rey travelled to the Sith home world of Exegol to put an end to the Sith Lord once and for all.
Joined by a redeemed Ben Solo (formerly Kylo Ren), the pair faced off against the phantom Emperor, with Rey finally dealing the killing blow by reflecting his Force Lightning back into his own face. At last, the galaxy was free from the Sith, but the effort of holding two Lightsabers was clearly too much for Rey, who died moments after Palpatine.
This wasn't her end though. Rising from a dark pit, a battered and scarred Ben limped over to Rey's body, and in one final act of love, revived her by passing his Life Force into her. The act sadly drained Solo completely, who then became one with the Force.
